Soo I was on a roll... and now I'm not - at least not on what I'm supposed to be doing.
Ain't that always how it goes? As soon as I commit to one project, another one starts grabbing all my attention like a jealous sibling. I swear, if these characters don't start sticking in their own lanes I'm going to be forced to write a large scale massacre scene until they decide to behave again.
Or maybe just for funsies, 'cause I'm really tired and it sounds like a slightly entertaining thing to do...
*sigh* But, I digress. Where I am making a nice bit of progress on another, unnamed project - Firechild has had a bit of a hiccup. Also, my Nano-Word-Meter on the sidebar of the blog has also had some stubborn malfunction and has refused to let me update my word count html since the first week of November... *grumbles and shakes an angry fist at her laptop screen*
As for my progress update:
We are now on Day Fifteen - half way through the month.
I should be close to 30k by now - but I am miserably nowhere in the vicinity:
13760 / 60000 words. 23% done!
Thus, my post today starting with a bland and melancholy, "Meh".
To my fellow writers doing NaNoWriMo:
Hope your words are flowing easily. Don't forget to stay hydrated. Good Luck To All!!!
Thanks For Reading!
For those of you scratching your heads and mouthing "NaNoWriMo?" with a puzzled expression:
NaNoWriMo is a month long event where both fledgling and professional writers alike commit to writing 50,000 words within the month of November (30 days). It is a shortening of "National Novel Writing Month" and has participants all over the world.
