End of September Update: Paperbacks and Patreon

September 24, 2017

Just making a few announcements today. I've got a couple of different projects going on right now and keeping wittle o' me pretty busy, so there are a few "maintenance" issues I've been neglecting that I'm just going to get out of the way so I can focus on other things.

First - If you will recall, earlier this year before Curse was released, I updated the covers for the entire Crow Series. The ebooks now all have the new covers attached on every outlet where it is available (that I'm aware of, at least).

However, reformatting the paperback versions with the new covers and interior formatting that I'm now using is a MUCH bigger task, and I am still struggling to finish it, while also working on the OTHER projects I currently have going on.

I do this mostly solo, please remember. DIY! FUCK YEAH! is also ohmygodsomuchworkandonlytwohands - so I juggle a lot. Yes, I know I do it to myself, but I kinda love the madness...

The point is, the current paperback versions all still have the old covers and none of the new bells and whistles.

I am not pleased by this. I've decided I'm taking them down at the end of the month until I release the new ones. This post is basically a heads up that they'll no longer be for sale by the end of the week - and hopefully that will also motivate me to step up (maybe sleep less haha) and get the new ones finished and re-released as soon as possible.

The second announcement is more of a whisper, since no one really seemed to notice or care that I was doing it anyway. Last year's Patreon experiment was a flop-flop dead fish. I kind of expected as much going into it, since I currently have a itty-bitty, microscopic following (but I wuv each and every nano-spec of you!) I've discussed it with the remaining Patrons and have decided to put it on ice until further notice. I appreciate everyone who took part, and want to thank you again for all your kindness and support over the last year. You guys kick so much ass, I'm in awe <3

The final announcement for today is a little more fun.

I have an event planned for the blog coming up next month in celebration for the new series I've been working on. I don't want to spoil it and put out too many details just yet, but I'm hoping it will find Songbird of Souls and the other parts in the series some excited new readers, 'cause I really am having a lot of fun with these stories, and I think you guys will too.

Until next time,
